The Gemini History Manager extension operates entirely locally within your browser. Its sole purpose is to interact with the Google Gemini website (gemini.google.com) to help you organize and manage your chat history.

• Chat History: The extension reads the list of chat titles and timestamps displayed on the Gemini webpage to populate the sidebar interface. This data remains in your browser's memory and is not sent to us.
• User Actions: Actions such as deleting chats are performed directly on the Gemini webpage via script injection initiated by your command.

2. Permissions

To function correctly, the extension requires the following permissions:

• storage: Used to save your local preferences (e.g., last used settings) within your browser.
• sidePanel: Used to display the extension's user interface.
• scripting: Used to automate actions like scrolling or bulk deleting items on the Gemini webpage upon your request.
• Host Permission (gemini.google.com): Required to access the content of the Gemini page to read chat titles and perform management actions.

3. Third-Party Services

This extension interacts with Google Gemini. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Your use of Google Gemini is subject to Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

4. Data Security

Since we do not collect any user data, there is no data database to be compromised. Your data stays on your device and within your Google account context.
